Wear protection for mills and crushers

Mills of all types serve as classic examples of wear. No tool used to grind material can escape abrasion over the long term. Mill components which are subject to high wear include not only the rollers and tracks, but also the feed units, housings, grit cones, separators and discharges.

Kalenborn wear protection linings are successfully used in mills and crushers all over the world – including vertical roller mills as well as horizontal grinding mills and ball mills – where they ensure long service life and economical operation.

In addition to wear protection for mills and crushers, we also offer our customers hardfacing services for regenerating the tracks and vertical roller mills. Moreover, along with regeneration operations at our specialized company in Poland, we can also, under certain circumstances, carry out the overlay welding operations in situ inside the mill.
