The new company premises have an overall size of 1500 m2. The hall that now houses both assembly and administration accounts for a good two-thirds of this. Kalenborn do Brasil has installed a purpose-built 400 m2 administration section with all the necessary offices and state-of-the-art communication technology. One innovation is the new order processing board that provides an overview of all currently on-going projects. The new conference room has been named for the deceased Kalenborn employee Heinz Dieter Zeller. As the workshop foreman, Zeller was involved in developing the subsidiary from the very start.
Dr. Conrad Mauritz and Markus Buscher travelled from Germany to take part in the inauguration ceremony. A warm welcome was also extended to new sales team employee Carlos Eduardo Gouvea. Kalenborn do Brasil is ideally connected to the surrounding infrastructure from its site in Vespasiano. Belo Horizonte is one of Brazil’s most important cities. The capital city of the federal state of Minas Gerais is situated in the south-east of the country and has a population of 1.4 million. “We hope that merging all of the departments will enable us to increase our efficiency and we look forward to working together even more closely in the future”, said subsidiary director Luiz Antonio de Campos.
