Great interest was also shown in the improved, wear-resistant high-performance concrete KALCRET. Customers appreciate its flexibility in practice. Large areas can be coated quickly and safely, so that plant availability is restored in a short time. KALCRET meets stringent requirements according to international wear tests and currently offers the best performance on the market.  Other sustainable customer solutions were discussed, such as dust filtering as well as the safe protection of plant components for transporting and sorting bulk materials.

On the SolutionCenter stage, Dipl.-Ing. Markus Buscher, Managing Director Kalenborn and Dr. mont. Markus Varga, MSc, Area Leader Synaptic Tribology, AC2T Research GmbH on the topic: Solid Wear Protection – Testing and Monitoring of Material Linings. The lecture was well received by the audience. It dealt with the evaluation of wear protection materials under special loads, monitoring of wear protection linings in service and reuse of components to ensure sustainable operation.
